Innovative Foundation Forming System on Display
Booth 7005 at Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, June 25 – 27, 2008

PLEASANT HILL, Calif. (June 17, 2008) — Pacific Housing Systems ™ today announced Suncoast Post Tension will feature a special display of the WAFFLEMAT foundation forming system in booth #7005 at the Pacific Coast Building Conference (“PCBC”), to be held June 25 - 27 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. Representatives from both Suncoast and PHS will be on hand to discuss features of the system and provide information.

The WAFFLEMAT System is designed for expansive soils conditions, with over 7,000,000 sf of residential living space installed since 1995. For more information, please call Rich Treanor at 925.640.8680.

Tom Richards, President and CEO of Pacific Housing Systems, said: “It’s amazing to witness the reaction of a builder who sees the WAFFLEMAT System up close and personal for the first time.  The hard dollar cost savings in materials, soil work, and future warranty issues are visually evident. The PCBC exhibit will not only be a great tool in demonstrating these areas of savings, but many, many more.”

Dan Rhoades, P.E., G.E., and Principal of Purcell, Rhoades & Associates, noted: “The number one feature home buyers want in their foundation is strength and superior performance, and with over 7,000,000 sf of residential living space installed since 1995, the WAFFLEMAT can certainly deliver. The spacing of the ribs provides for an extremely stiff floor, and its environmentally-friendly, 'green' materials act as a built-in vapor barrier that can help shield against moisture.”
