To Advise in Key Areas Relating to Company’s Efforts in South Pacific

PLEASANT HILL, Calif. (January 27, 2009) — Pacific Housing Systems ™, LLC today announced that Eric T. “Rick” Olson has joined the company’s Advisory Board, and will serve with current members Dan Rhoades, Gene St. Onge, Clyde Trego, and Kerri Howell in providing advice and counsel relating to their various areas of expertise. He will also serve as an independent consultant, providing assistance in business development relating specifically to the company’s efforts in the South Pacific.

“During 33 years in the U.S. Army, Rick has done just about everything,” said Tom Richards, President and CEO of Pacific Housing Systems. “He’s served as the Commander of Combined, Joint Task Force-76 that’s responsible for all security and reconstruction operations in Afghanistan, as well as Deputy Director of the Iraq Reconstruction Management Office at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, and Chief of Staff to the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction in Washington, DC.”

“When you add his work in the private sector (currently an independent consultant to Northrop-Grumman, and previously with MPEG LA, China, as a senior executive for patent-licensing), you have an individual possessing a rare combination of skills uniquely suited to provide counsel and advice as we go forward.”

Olson noted: “PHS certainly has a long history of providing cost-effective, performance-based solutions for builders, particularly with the Wafflemat foundation forming system and Winslow Geo Anchor/Winslow Geo Pile support products. However, the solutions are also very environmentally friendly, and providing products that lower the carbon footprint is something every builder should demand from each supplier today.”

“I’m honored to join the PHS Advisory Board, and look forward to not only providing advice and counsel, but especially assisting business development efforts in the South Pacific.”

Eric Olson began his distinguished military career after graduating from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1972, and has commanded at every level from platoon to division. In 2000, he became the 68th Commandant of Cadets at West Point, serving until 2002. He achieved the rank of Major General, and spent his last three years of service as Commanding General of the 25th Infantry Division (Light), Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
